What fixilo is
fixilo helps people find a trusted electrician, plumber, carpenter, AC technician or other local professional inside their own PIN code, and contact them directly by phone or WhatsApp.
Service professionals, whom we call service partners, register on the platform, create a service profile describing their trade, experience and the PIN codes they work in, and become discoverable to customers nearby. fixilo provides the digital tools that make this possible: registration and identity verification, profile management, availability controls, and search by locality and category.
Who it is for
Customers
Customers use fixilo free of charge. They enter a PIN code, choose a trade, and call or message a listed partner. The price of the job is agreed directly between the customer and the partner, and paid directly to the partner.
Service partners
Independent professionals and small businesses who want to be found by customers in the areas they already serve. Partners pay fixilo for access to the platform, as described below. fixilo does not take a commission on the work they do.
How fixilo earns
fixilo charges service partners for platform services, and nothing else:
- Registration fee — a one-time fee paid when a partner registers. It covers review of their identity documents and profile, and approval for listing.
- Subscription fees — optional paid plans (Pro and Premium) that extend a partner’s reach, such as more PIN codes, more categories and featured placement.
Both are collected online through Zoho Payments. The registration fee is ₹99 plus applicable taxes in every locality. Subscription amounts depend on the plan and locality. Both are always shown in the app before payment. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details.
How we build trust
Signing up with an OTP creates an account, not a listing. A partner’s profile is shown to customers only after their ID document has been reviewed by a person and their registration is approved. Duplicate documents are detected, confirmed fraud is blocklisted, and reports from customers are routed to a human review queue.
Where we operate
fixilo operates in India and opens one locality at a time, starting in West Bengal, so that customers in each open PIN code have verified partners who can actually answer the phone.
